Board of Trustees Elections
The Board of Trustees consists of seven members elected to serve, without compensation, for overlapping terms of three years each. Elections are conducted annually in May. Following the annual election, the board elects a president, vice president, and secretary to serve for a one year term.

* A candidate for trustee representing a single-member trustee district must be a resident of the district the candidate seeks to represent.
*New* Candidate application packets will be available at the District Support Center located at 420 S. Shawnee, Nacogdoches, Texas beginning Wednesday, January 6, 2021. The application is also available for downloading from the Secretary of State’s website. Click here
Candidate filing period to file an application for a place on the ballot is: Wednesday, January 13, 2021 to Friday, February 12, 2021.
Filing hours are: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Fridays, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.,Friday, February 12, 2021 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Applications and completed forms must be filed at the E.J. Campbell District Support Center located at 420 S. Shawnee, Nacogdoches, Texas.
