Community Flyers
Nacogdoches ISD approves flyers for non-profit organizations, local sports teams, and businesses for distribution. Please review the district Literature Distribution (non-school) Guidelines before submitting/emailing flyers to the Communications & Community Engagement Department at publicrelations@nacisd.org. Nacogdoches ISD does not distribute commercial advertising to students directly. For more information, contact our department at 936-569-5000.

Social Media
Nacogdoches ISD currently has a presence on four social media platforms - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. These pages are updated by the Communications & Community Engagement Department and are the only official pages sanctioned by the Nacogdoches Independent School District. Nacogdoches ISD promotes district and campus accomplishments and events on social media.

Web Services
NISD’s division of Web Services is responsible for developing and maintaining a variety of web pages and online functions of the internal and external communications of the Nacogdoches ISD website. The district webmaster manages the district’s website and oversees the web managers at each of the district’s campuses.
EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
Emergency School-Closing Information: Each year, parents are asked to complete an emergency release form to provide contact information in the event that school is dismissed early or opening is delayed because of severe weather or another emergency, or if the campus must restrict access due to a security threat. If the campus must close, delay opening, or restrict access to the building because of an emergency, the district will alert the community in a variety of ways, including the district website, district and campus social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram); telephone call-outs; text messaging; and local television and radio stations.
