Model UN allows students to simulate roles as delegates to the United Nations from a particular nation and serve as representatives of that country's policies. The simulation educates students about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the agenda of the United Nations.

Participants role-play as diplomats representing a nation in a simulated session of a committee of the United Nations — such as the Security Council or the General Assembly.
