Tax Rate

The Nacogdoches Independent School District Board of Trustees adopted a local tax rate of $1.3575 at the regular monthly board meeting on August 20, 2015. The Maintenance and Operations tax rate is $1.17 and the Debt Service tax rate is $0.1875 for a total of $1.3575 per one hundred dollars in value. Last year's total tax rate was $1.3575. The recorded vote was 6 for and 0 against. 

This tax rate will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last  year's tax rate.
