Nacogdoches ISD has implemented a new online program called ParentConnection. ParentConnection allows parents/guardians to view their child's grades directly from the teacher's grade book. You will only be able to view academic grades for students in 2nd through 12th grade at Brooks Quinn Jones, Carpenter, Fredonia, Nettie Marshall, Raguet, Thomas J. Rusk, McMichael , Mike Moses and Nacogdoches High School. Pre-K, kindergarten and 1st grade students will not have grades in the online program.

 

Teachers will update grades on a weekly basis.  Please remember the grades you see might not include all assignments or tests that have been completed by your child. Also, keep in mind that some assignments take longer to grade than others. If you have questions about any of these items, please contact the teacher via email or phone.

 

Pop-up blockers must be disabled for Parent Connection to function correctly. Web enhancements will also prevent ParentConnection from functioning correctly. Be sure you disable pop-up blockers and uninstall any web browser enhancements you may have.

 

Before you begin you will need your child(ren)'s student ID number. You can obtain this number from your child's report card, in person at his or her school, (you may be asked to show some form of ID), or your child may know it. The campus cannot release this information over the phone.

 

It is also recommended that you have an email address.

 

Once an application for a Parent Connection account has been submitted, you will receive a welcome to Parent Connection message to let you know your application has been received.  Your application will be marked "pending" until it has passed the campus approval process.  This process is completed by an assigned employee on your student(s) campus.  Please allow a few days for this process due to the volume of application request.  Once your application has been approved you will receive notification of approval from Parent Connection.

 

Please keep in mind the district will not be responsible for your inability to access ParentConnection, unless the problem is with our server.
