Board of Trustees Elections

The Board of Trustees consists of seven members elected to serve, without compensation, for overlapping terms of three years each. Elections are conducted annually in May. Following the annual election, the board elects a president, vice president, and secretary to serve for a one year term.

Available Positions and Application Process:

At-Large (Position 2) 
District 1 (Position 1) *

* A candidate for trustee representing a single-member trustee district must be a resident of the district the candidate seeks to represent.

 

Candidate application packets will be available at the District Support Center located at 4632 NE Stallings, Nacogdoches, Texas beginning Wednesday, January 12, 2022. The application is also available for downloading from the Secretary of State’s website. Click here

Candidate filing period to file an application for a place on the ballot is: Wednesday, January 19, 2022 to Friday, February 18, 2022.
Filing hours are: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Fridays, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.,
Friday, February 18, 2022 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
