Texas Workforce Commissioner of Labor Alberto “Albert” Treviño III and Mark Durand, Executive Director of Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas, visited Nacogdoches High School’s Career & Technical Education program Wednesday.
Principal Stephen Autrey and two CTE student ambassadors, Melanie Beltran and Cody Claude, took them on a tour of the CTE department, including the Malcolm Rector Center for Advanced Careers & Innovation.
Treviño was appointed Texas Workforce Commission’s Commissioner of Labor in January by Gov. Greg Abbott.
