Volunteer talks with student at mobile library

Nacogdoches ISD is continuing its summer nutrition program. On Tuesday, students at Brooks-Quinn-Jones Elementary – one of three NISD campuses where meals are being served – had lunch and visited the mobile library hosted by Rotary Club of Nacogdoches.

Nacogdoches ISD free meals are available this summer for children ages 1 to 18 at a number of locations throughout the city.

Meals are served at NISD locations including Brooks-Quinn-Jones Elementary, Thomas J. Rusk Elementary, Nacogdoches High School and NISD Central Kitchen. Meals are also available at Boys & Girls Club and University Church Gym. The program will continue through July 21 at TJR and BQJ and through July 28 at NHS. Meals will be available through July 29 at the Central Kitchen and University Church Gym and through Aug. 5 at Boys & Girls Club.

No meals will be served July 4.

The mobile library is set up during lunchtime at Boys & Girls Club on Mondays and Wednesday (except July 4) and at BQJ Elementary on Tuesdays (except July 5).

See the flyer included with this post for the full schedule of locations along with menus for the summer meal program.
