High school registration is right around the corner for NISD eighth-graders.
On Thursday, Jan. 18, NHS counselors will be on the McMichael Middle School campus to visit with eighth-grade students. High school class selection tickets will be distributed for students to take home.
On Tuesday, Jan. 23, and Wednesday, Jan. 24, McMichael eighth-graders will visit Nacogdoches High School for the CTE Showcase in the Malcolm Rector Center for Advanced Careers & Innovation.
On Thursday, Jan. 25, parents of eighth-graders preparing to enter high school can visit with counselors regarding class selection and graduation plans, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Malcolm Rector Center (located behind the high school along Maroney Drive). That night, parents can view the CTE Showcase on display in the Malcolm Rector Center.
Tuesday, Jan. 30, is the final day to return a registration ticket to an eighth-grade counselor.
