For students attending McMichael Middle School and Nacogdoches High School, basic school supplies – composition notebooks, lined and graphed notebook paper, index cards, markers, map pencils, pens and pencils – will be provided for the return to classes for the 2025-26 academic year.
The first day of school at Nacogdoches ISD for the 2025-26 academic year is Wednesday, Aug. 13.
NISD is also providing back-to-school supplies for Pre-K through fifth-grade students.
For sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students at McMichael and ninth-, 10th-, 11th- and 12th-grade students at Nacogdoches High School, additional materials beyond the basic supplies may be requested by teachers of certain classes and in grade levels.
