Nacogdoches High School's Golden Dragon Marching Band earned its 43rd First Division rating since 1980 at the UIL Region 21 Marching Contest held Saturday at Homer Bryce Stadium.

Next up for the Dragons is the UIL State Military Marching Band contest on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at McLane Stadium on the campus of Baylor University in Waco.
Preliminaries will take place that afternoon, and the finals will be held that evening.
