Because of the threat of icy weather Friday night and Saturday, Nacogdoches High School has rescheduled basketball and soccer games to Thursday and the District 16-5A Swimming and Diving Championships have been moved up a day.
Here are the changes:
• The Dragons swim team will travel to the New Caney ISD Natatorium on Friday, Jan. 23, for the district meet that begins at 10 a.m.
• Nacogdoches High School’s basketball and soccer games with Lufkin will now be held Thursday, Jan. 22.
• Basketball games at Nacogdoches High School will get underway at 5 p.m., Thursday. Varsity girls will play around 6:15 p.m., and varsity boys will begin around 7:30 p.m.
• Boys soccer will play in Lufkin on Thursday; JV starts at 4:30 p.m. and varsity will get underway around 6:15 p.m. Girls soccer will play at Dragon Stadium on Thursday with JV starting at 4:30 p.m. and varsity getting underway around 6 p.m.
