Dear Nacogdoches High School parents, Nacogdoches High School vastly underestimated student interest this year in our homecoming dance that’s being held Saturday, and we’re terribly sorry for that. So we’re making changes in plans that will now allow additional students to buy tickets to the dance. First, any student who was on the initial waitlist Tuesday for the dance has already been allowed to buy a ticket. NHS is also making 200 additional tickets available for purchase. Those tickets will be sold beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday morning (Sept. 22) in the NHS auditorium on a first-come-first serve basis. Tickets are $20 each and cash only. Students will be able to purchase a maximum of two (2) tickets to the dance. (If their date is from outside the district, the students need to have the required paperwork ready at time of purchase.) If you have questions, please call the high school at (936) 564-2466. We’re grateful so many students are wishing to participate in homecoming, and we will take this year’s level of interest into consideration when it’s time to sell homecoming tickets in the future. Sincerely, Stephen Autrey NHS Principal
