Marley Hibbard, a Raguet Elementary fifth-grader, will have her drawing on display in March at the Bullock Texas State History Museum, part of the 2024 Texas Art Education Association’s Youth Art Month Exhibition. Marley will attend the awards ceremony and reception on March 10 in Austin.
Marley’s drawing is of Bob Marley, the Jamaican singer, songwriter and musician, who is also the fifth-grader’s namesake.
The exhibit showcases Pre-K through 12th grade works of art from across the state of Texas. Student art from around the state will be exhibited at the Bullock Texas State History Museum during the month of March, and the exhibit will be featured on its website.
