It was an early morning start yesterday for the field trip to Region VII 's G/T Robotics Celebration for Primary Students (grades 1-3) in Lufkin...but we had so much fun and learned so much throughout the day!

Quick Reminder...Student Dress Code
NISD dress code requirements have not changed. Jeans are allowed at Raguet on only Fridays (with a spirit shirt) or on a Free Dress Day. Closed-toed shoes are required: no sandals or Crocs-type shoes allowed. Thank you for all your help!
That silly leprechaun! Mrs. Anthony's kinder friends were teased all week...a mysterious leprechaun door showed up one day, hats and green moustaches were left, traps were created and set, a "destroyed" classroom (with treats!), and even shrunken journals and pencils! Oh, my!

A great big Thank You! to Patrick Castillo with Servepro for Raguet's new Texas flag! He heard we needed a new one, and working with Rep. Travis Clardy, had this flag flown over our state capital on Texas Independence Day! This is a really big deal and we are so very thankful!

From Coach Gatson - I want to thank the parents for their donations to the American Heart Association. Our goal this year was $1,500.00 and we reached our goal totaling $1,510.85. In the gym, students learned the importance of maintaining a healthy heart. One of the ways to maintain a healthy heart is through exercising, which is why we chose to learn how to jump rope. To make this cause a fun and educational event, I turned it into a challenge to pie me in the face, PE teacher for the day, or silly string me.
