Ms. Rachel's class lucked out! They were able to visit with another author! Gaby Aldeman was supposed to virtually visit with another class but they were unable to come to the library. Gaby was flexible, had a crash course on how to use an interpreter and did her visit like a pro. Gaby read her book Paula's Patches. She explained to students what hand-me-downs are and read how Paula took something old or ripped and made it new again.

Ms. Boney's class is the only class Mrs. Taylor could not find an author to virtually visit with them. So instead, Mrs Taylor connected with Scholastic's StoryVoice. Students were able to watch author & illustrator Kazu Kibuishi (Amulet series) talk about his books and do some drawings.
