Students prep sandwiches for Dragon Coffee Bar and Bistro

Dragon Coffee Bar and Bistro on Valentine’s Day? Yes, please!

Nacogdoches High School’s Culinary Arts students marked Valentine’s Day with hot beverages and pastries in the morning and pulled barbecue chicken sandwiches at lunch.

Drinks, including coffee, green tea, cold brew coffee and muffins were available during first and second period Tuesday at NHS. The drinks were delivered by students during first and second periods.

The Bistro To-Go Lunch included pulled barbecue chicken sandwich and was served with broccoli salad. Chocolate cake with chocolate ganache for dessert; orders were delivered during fourth period.

The Coffee Bar and Bistro serves as a fundraiser for the Culinary Arts class. The class is led by Suzanne Duncan and is part of the Career and Technical Education program at NHS.
