Nacogdoches ISD’s job fair on April 15 will be all about “opportunity.”
NISD is offering stipends above and beyond regular compensation for key positions in the district, including $4,000 for bilingual elementary teachers who come on board and $3,000 for secondary math and science teachers.
The spring job fair is set for 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, April 15, at the Malcolm Rector Center for Advanced Careers and Innovation located at Nacogdoches High School. The new facility can be accessed from Maroney Drive at the rear of the high school (the physical address is 4310 Appleby Sand Road in Nacogdoches).
At the job fair, prospective teachers, paraprofessionals and other campus instructional staff, as well as manual trades personnel interested in working at NISD can visit with principals and department directors, chat and interview about employment opportunities, and explore employee benefits of joining the district.

Teachers can choose a specific category to apply in or submit a general application for elementary, middle school or high school openings.
