PUBLIC NOTICE
Nacogdoches Independent School District will be applying for federal funding under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) for the 2023/2024 school year. Programs include:
Title I, Part A | Improving Basic Programs |
Title I, Part C | Education of Migratory Children |
Title II, Part A | Supporting Effective Instruction |
Title III, Part A | English Language Acquisition, Language Enhancement, and Academic Achievement Act |
Title III, Part A | Immigrant Student Support |
Title IV, Part A | Student Support and Academic Enrichment |
Under ESSA, private schools may be eligible for services at no cost as they are classified as non-profit institutions. Nacogdoches ISD will conduct a planning meeting on June 21, 2023.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide the NISD community with information related to participation in federal programs and to gather valued input concerning the content of services for the 2023/2024 school year.

Bajo ESSA, las escuelas privadas pueden ser elegibles para servicios sin costo ya que están clasificadas como instituciones sin fines de lucro. Nacogdoches ISD llevará a cabo una reunión de planificación el 21 de junio de 2023.
El propósito de la reunión es brindar a la comunidad de NISD información relacionada con la participación en programas federales y recopilar información valiosa sobre el contenido de los servicios para el año escolar 2023/2024.
