Board members Cheryl D. Brady and James Ervin were sworn in Monday during a special meeting/agenda review for the Nacogdoches ISD Board of Trustees.
Brady was elected May 3 to fill an at-large position on the board held by Kallie Pitcock, who chose not to seek re-election. Ervin was re-elected after running unopposed in District 1.
The board met Monday for its regular agenda review. The special meeting was for canvassing election returns, swearing in Brady and Ervin and voting on officers. Farshid Niroumand will remain board president, Ervin will remain vice president and Leabeth Abt will remain board secretary.
Trustees will hold their regular monthly meeting at 5 p.m., Thursday, May 15.
