Graduation plans are set for the Class of 2025 at Nacogdoches High School.
NHS will hold ceremonies at 8 p.m., Friday, May 23, at William R. Johnson Coliseum on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University. Admission is free, and no ticket is required to enter.
The doors to the coliseum will open at 7 p.m. Graduating seniors must arrive at 7 p.m. and proceed to the holding area. (Appropriate dress requirements are outlined in the Senior Letter and informational flyers provided to all graduating seniors.)
Please also note that air horns and balloons are not allowed in the coliseum for graduation and will be confiscated at the door.
Earlier in the day, seniors will take a cap and gown class picture at 8:15 in the 9th grade competition gym. Students arriving late will not be photographed. Following the photograph, the graduates are required to attend Graduation practice at the SFA coliseum at 9:30 a.m. Practice should be over from 12-12:30 pm.
Following the graduation ceremony on May 23, students who have signed up for Project Graduation may begin arriving at 11 p.m. at SFA’s Rec Center. Doors will lock at midnight.
Diploma pick-up will be 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, June 3. Diplomas may be picked up continuing through the summer months at the NHS Main office, Monday through Thursday.
