Nacogdoches ISD Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, at the E.J. Campbell building at 420 S. Shawnee St. to consider hiring a Superintendent of Schools.
On May 19, trustees named Grey Burton their lone finalist to fill the opening created when Dr. Gabriel Trujillo resigned in March to accept the superintendent position at Grand Prairie ISD.
After naming a lone finalist, school boards in Texas must wait at least 21 days before officially hiring a superintendent.
The meeting will be in person. A livestream of the meeting will be available on the district’s YouTube channel Nacogdoches ISD.
