Nacogdoches High School will perform at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, in the Class 5A/6A State Military Marching Band Championship at McLane Stadium on the campus of Baylor University.
The Golden Dragon Marching Band earned a first division rating earlier this month at the Region 21 marching contest in Longview. The streak of first division ratings at the regional marching contest now stretches back decades for NHS.
Nacogdoches is one of 10 Class 5A or 6A marching bands competing in the state military marching contest. Five of the bands will be selected for the finals that will take place beginning 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 28.
