The Nacogdoches High School football team is in the playoffs for the first time since 2021. The Dragons will play Port Neches-Groves High School at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, in a Class 5A Division II bi-district playoff.
The game will be played at Indian Stadium in Port Neches, 1401 Merriman St.

Nacogdoches finished fourth in District 7-5A with a 6-4 record. It’s the first time the Dragons have reached six wins in a season since 2014. Port Neches-Groves is 10-0 and ranked third in the state in Class 5A Division II by the Associated Press.
