Nacogdoches ISD has canceled classes on Tuesday, Jan. 27, for students and staff because of the hazardous travel conditions that remain from the weekend’s winter storm as well as ongoing electrical outages in the county. Many roads, especially in rural parts of the district where our buses run, remain hazardous. All after-school activities are also canceled for Tuesday.
NISD will reopen Wednesday, Jan. 28, on a normal schedule. Should that change, notifications will be sent out Tuesday afternoon. Everyone stay safe and warm!
