Nacogdoches High School senior Micah Lockett is headed to The Big Apple.
Lockett, who holds the school record in the high jump and is the defending Class 5A champion in Texas, will compete Saturday in the Nike National Indoor championship in New York City.
Lockett’s best national jump this year of 7-feet, 2-inches this year will also be on display at the Armory in downtown New York City.
