Nacogdoches ISD recognized eight retirees during a dinner and ceremony held May 12 at the Malcolm Rector Center for Advanced Careers & Innovation.
Suzanne Choate and her culinary arts students prepared the dinner for the evening and were assisted in serving by volunteers from Nacogdoches High School's National Honor Society.
NISD Board of Trustees Vice President James Montoya provided a welcome and introduced board members. Superintendent Dr. Gabriel Trujillo also spoke during the ceremony.
