Nacogdoches ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved Thursday night a 19.4 percent increase in the hourly pay rate for its school bus drivers.
Beginning bus drivers will now be paid $16 per hour, an increase from $13.40. The midpoint scale hourly pay rate increased to $20.56, and the maximum rate increased to $25.12.
