Nacogdoches ISD Community Ambassadors and Superintendent Dr. Gabriel Trujillo visited the Malcolm Rector Center for Advanced Careers & Innovation Thursday to tour the district’s Nacogdoches ISD Career and Technical Education program.
Coy van Valkenburgh, Director of CTE, visited with Ambassadors about the programs offered by NISD. Then, CTE student ambassadors led tours of the facilities and programs taking place at the high school.
Afterwards, the Community Ambassadors heard program overviews on safety and operations and on the newly formed Nacogdoches ISD Education Foundation. Community Ambassadors meet each month during the school year.
