
It's spring break time for Nacogdoches ISD. Students and staff will be on spring break for the week of March 6 through March 10. Additionally, Monday, March 13, is a staff and student holiday. Students and staff will return to school on Tuesday, March 14. We hope everyone enjoys the break!

Committees working on Nacogdoches ISD’s District of Innovation proposal finalized plans Monday during a combined meeting at the E.J. Campbell Annex. The plan is now posted on the NISD website and can be viewed here: https://5il.co/1phfb.
The plan will be posted for 30 days during which public comments are being accepted. Those comments can be made to Maury Tarvin, Executive Director of Campus Safety, Student Management & Operations at mptarvin@nacisd.org or by calling (936) 569-5000, ext. 8810.
The proposed District of Innovation plan will be considered for adoption by the NISD Board of Trustees at 5 p.m., Thursday, March 23, at the E.J. Campbell Annex, 420 S. Shawnee St.

This is a reminder that Monday, February 20, is a student holiday at Nacogdoches ISD. Teachers and staff for the district will take part in a workday while students have the day off. Thank you, and we hope you have a great weekend.
