Because of treacherous travel conditions related to the wintry mix of precipitation we’ve received, Nacogdoches ISD will be closed for students and staff Tuesday, Jan. 16. All after-school activities are also canceled for Tuesday. (Maintenance and custodial staff who can safely report on Tuesday should be at work at scheduled times.)
Nacogdoches ISD is closed Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, but NISD is monitoring the weather forecast for Sunday night and Monday when there is a chance of frozen precipitation. Any updates needed on how that weather might impact school on Tuesday would be made in direct communication to parents by phone, email and text, as well as on the district’s website and app, and on Facebook and Twitter.
